In the up-and-down dance around approximately the same weight for the past
6 weeks I'm down 1.2 kg = 2.6 lb for the week. No real breakthrough yet though.

also - here they have commercials all day every day on TV for weight loss programs that basically send you all your meals already pre-made every week for their diets. This seems convenient for some people who aren't even dieting, just to have all their meals delivered :)
Maybe one major convenience of this working more easily to help people lose weight is just that it's so simple and hopefully not to limiting and boring :) like they just never have to prepare any meals or be imaginative about what to do for their next days food. I guess this can be a major adavantage for busy people who hate to cook, or a major disadvantage for anyone who likes to cook and/or plan different things for a healthy menu all the time. It just seems a way to conveniently get the right amount of calories and nutrients people want without a lot of time spent on this.

The fullbar and pre-packaged meals. Yet more stuff to spend money on!
Surely there are diet solutions that don't require spending more money on somebody else's system.
By the way, with the pre-packaged meals you still have to go shopping and add fresh ingredients, like salads and fruits and things like that.

haha - yes definitely, I agree - there is no need to spend money to do these things or anything else! :)
These are just some general ideas I hear about - but probably any of them can be adapted with some personal touches to make them no extra cost, to see if they work and are worth it!
Yes, I guess if people are adding things to the pre-packaged meals, they can also just make their own meals too - and maybe it doesn't save much effort over other ready made meals, or easily made meals!
But biking is still fun! :)

hahaha - I should use a bike/treadmill also :)
A bike/treadmill inside could be fun too :) you already have the bike!! :)

You can just go downstairs and use them at your gym. If they are so much fun I wonder how many times you've used them in the 7 months since you moved there.

That's encouraging to have a loss, since it's obviously less frustrating than staying with a healthy diet and exercise and having a gain, so if you didn't change anything you're doing and lost a good amount of weight this week, then maybe it will hopefully just continue to average out to a nice loss. You can always try some temporary jump-start-kick-the-loss-into motion things even temporraily to see if it really helps and makes any difference, like some major exercise added or something for a week or so to see if that makes things progress better. You liked going on bike rides also, so maybe that would be a convenient exercise that would help?
and daily bullworker (weights etc) probably is a good thing also! :)
One other thing I keep reading about is the idea of this "full bar", where you eat a small thing with a glass of water/green tea etc, a little before meals (like 30 minutes) to make you feel full(er). I heard different things about whether it really works the way they say, but the idea might make sense, and can be tried with some other similar food items to see if it works?

and also just drinking a lot more all the time to make you feel full. that way there's no big change to your diet, other than adding more zero calories drinks.
